The obvious gaps in the tabletop splicing not only affect the overall aesthetics, but also easily breed bacteria. Because the hardness of quartzite plate is only inferior to that of natural diamond, it can reach grade 7 of Mohs scale hardness. In addition, the particles inside will collapse, so the edge opening is relatively rough during cutting, and gaps will occur during natural splicing. It is difficult to achieve seamless splicing. At present, the so-called seamless splicing will not be the same as the original board, and a adhesive line can still be seen. In order to achieve seamless splicing, the splicing seam should be polished first. This process is a major test for the installation personnel's technology. (However, now there are CNC equipment that can do it.) After polishing, use the manufacturer's original glue of the same color to paste. Before pasting, first match the color with the table board to avoid color difference. Use Masking tape to paste on the edges of the two butt joints to avoid unnecessary trouble when the glue contacts the plane for cleaning. After completing the preparation work, evenly apply the adhesive and fix it with an F-clip for about 15 minutes. After splicing, try to avoid polishing as much as possible.
